No FUDDS around here

Our goal: To be the gun store that you don’t want to leave but can’t afford to stay at.

Where does the name watermark come from?

“I realized I had a larger than average gun collection and had this idea maybe I could do something more with it. I had an idea to create a business where I loan my firearms, accessories and knowledge to movies as props. They are always getting the little details wrong.

Come to find out, there’s a lot of red tape and hoops to jump through. Didn’t feel worth it to me at the time to push forward since they are using air soft for the most part anyway.

Moving forward, I already had the LLC and so I made an Instagram account dedicated to pictures of guns unsure where it was going. Turns out people really liked my photos and the IG page blew up.

When my next business venture idea came up to open a gun store, I decided to keep the name. Not only was it already “famous”, but I really like the concept of a Watermark. It’s there but not, kinda like your autism.”

When we were working on a logo, we used a temporary "placeholder" picture of our daughters favorite chicken, Coco. While working through various designs, none spoke to us or felt authentic. Ultimately, we felt that a "laser eyes" (for her anonymity, of course) Coco was the best representation of who were are; fun, family orientated, quirky, tactical chicken people... or something.

What about the chicken?

Meet Mike aka “water father”

Mike and Esther launched Watermark Arms in 2023 with the help of their two small humans. It has been a family business since day 1 and will remain that way. Mike is an army veteran who rejects FUDD status. He’s a gun enthusiast and we think he’s pretty funny. Check out the IG for updates on the shops.

Your friendly, local arms dealer.

Watermark is a place for gun nerds. Enthusiasts. And all those who aspire to be.

Mike created a shop that he wanted to shop for all things guns at. No matter how many shops we open.
